Key Lesson: Guy Finley’s

Commentary on
the Murder at Wal-Mart

Hello Friends:

Many of you may know, and some of you may not know, that on Black Friday a man who was 6ft 5  inches tall, who was an employee at a Wal-Mart in New York, got trampled to death by 2000 people who cared more about getting “a deal” on something they were buying in the store…who cared more about saving Money and getting an object that THEY WANTED, than they cared about a human being (or all the human beings that were impacted). There were more than one person who were trampled on that day…1 man died.

I heard a woman who got trampled, interviewed on a radio show the day after it all happened, and she said that the people knocked the doors down before they had a chance to open the doors. I do not know about you, but what I do know, is that I find it horrific that this type of thing happens in our modern day. I received this audio commentary from Guy Finley on “The Murder at Wal-Mart” topic today and I felt his message so compelling that I wanted to post it on my blog to forward it. A HUGE SHIFT IN HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS needs to happen…still.  A huge shift needs to happen about our human mentality about the Holiday Season and what each holiday, whether it is Christmas, Hanukah, or Kwanza is supposed to be about.

I hope you can join me in that shift, by TAKING THE TIME (20 minutes) to listen to Guy Finley’s profound message on “The Murder at Wal-Mart.” There is a reason why that man died…let’s honor him in the lesson that might be learned from his death. Let’s start with ourselves to create that human shift within our being to create the ripple effect for the obvious shift that needs to happen.

I included a link below, just in case the link on the top of the page does not work.

Career Change~Being True to yourself!

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

“To thine own self be true and it must follow as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”  ~ William Shakespeare

IF you are looking for a shIFt in your career, it is really important to follow the wisdom of William Shakespeare and be true to yourself!

It is a common issue that people are in careers that are not fulfilling to them. They dread getting up in the morning and going to work. If this is the case with you, then you are being hit by a 2 x 4 to evaluate you career and do what you can to create your own career change.

Don’t you think you are worth a happy life? If you are dreading going to work in the morning, those feelings are certainly impeding on your happiness, aren’t they?

If you are lost and do not know where to even start in evluating your career change opportunities, then maybe it is time to hire a career coach.

You may be surprised on how a career coach could help you change your career.

You are the only one who can be true to yourself when it comes to your career!

“To thine own self be true…”

Career Changing towards your Life’s Work?

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

“No one else can tell you what your life’s work is, but it’s important that  you find it. There is a part of you that knows. Affirm that part!”
                                                       ~ Willis Harman

When we struggle in our careers or hate our jobs it is usually because our soul is unsettled with what we are doing in our work. I call this time the “Revolution into the evolution of you…in your career.”TM

So, when you are starting to ask yourself the question: What is my life’s work? That is a time for acknowledging and recognizing that your soul is awakening you to understand that it is time to make a change in your career. I have been there, so I remember well, this “soul awakening” that I am referring to. It can be very painful.

So, what is YOUR life’s work? Do you know? Lots of people say they cannot figure it out.

So, I will coach you with some questions that may help you figure it out, in order to guide you to make shIFts in your career change, sooner rather than later?

1. What activities do you do or particpate in that make your soul sing?

2. What would you love to do, where you would be jazzed getting up in the morning every single day and be willing to even do it for free, because you have such joy in your heart when you do it?

3. What do people tell you that you are really good at?

4. What comes naturally to you, when you do it, that it feels more like playing than working?

5. What are hobbies that you like doing or that you wish you had more time to do?

The answers to these questions are a start on your path to figuring out your life’s work. They are also what I call ShIFt Soulyoutions TM. Like the quote above says…AFFIRM THAT PART within you.

That is the first step to making a career change that fulfills your soul.

So, what IF you starting doing some of those things? What IF you could shIFt from a place of misery to a place of joy by changing your career by following your soul’s guidance to creating your life’s work?

IF you do what you love, the money will follow. It may take some time, some planning and some effort, but it will all be worth it, IF you shIFt from pain to joy, as you make your career change.

Take action, affirm your life’s work! That will create a huge gIFt in your shIFt. It is your birthright!

Blessings in your shIFts,
